Verve Shelter Project
By Ollie Stratton

We recently supported the charity ‘Shelter’ by providing our camera operator, Richard, along with the kit and lighting required to film and stream their ‘One Voice Christmas Carol Concert’. It was an incredible event aiming to support the valuable work that Shelter do, defending people’s right to a safe home.

The Kit:

Three Sony FX9 cameras – Impressive full-frame cameras with 6K sensors. Get in touch if you want to try one of these or others in the range like the latest Sony FX6.

Canon CN7 Lenses – Perfect for broadcasting and a lovely pairing on the Sony Cameras.

Lighting – Of course, all this kit isn’t much good without the proper lighting. We took what we needed to ensure we got the best image quality.

Richard – Technically not a bit of kit… but a pro, nonetheless. In his hands, all this came together seamlessly.

Hurricane media produced and put the show together, and we think it turned out great. To watch the concert, head over to
