The Intensity Shuttle means that you can plug in your AVCHD or HDV camera using HDMI or analog and capture directly from the camera's CCD. Therefore you completely bypass the camera's video compression and get picture quality. You can also use the Shuttle for monitoring from your edit software for excellent real-time effects.

The Blackmagic Design Intensity Shuttle can provide the highest quality capture thanks to its HDMI-in connection which allows you to connect to cameras and digital set-top boxes. Get higher quality capture from HD cameras by capturing direct and bypassing the HDV compression chip for high-quality video captured directly from the image sensor.
